I purchased a Toshiba portable hard drive 500GB hard drive a while back and did all the formatting through Wii WBFS Manager. I used the same card for my wii, some people said that the SDHC doesn’t work but it had work perfectly for me. For now, just download all three and burn GParted to a bootable disk. It's been while since I played with my modded Wii and lately I've been getting into homebrew scene again but I have one issue. Configurable USB Loader is the program that you will place on your Nintendo Wii SDCard so you can play the games from the external USB Hard drive.
